Happy President's Day!

We've had a fun filled week with Valentine's Day, decorating Molly's room and just spending time together as a family.  Here are some picture highlights:
 I've just about given up on headbands.  They look so cute but never last more than 5 minutes...

 Valentine's Dinner: homemade Heart Shaped gluten free pizza, red punch, red jello, purple salad dressing (raspberry vinaigrette), and for dessert...

gluten free sugar cookies (my recipe, of course!)

 We always have a little decorating contest, and yes, Shane always wins!  He's just so creative!!!

Yum!

Molly and I rearranged her room while Shane was out of town.  She loves having the books within reach of her rocking chair!

 Just hanging around

 Molly loves to find new places to sit

Family Wedding

When Shane joined us in Utah for the wedding, Molly and I had already been there for a week.  We were so excited to see him!  I saw his car pull into my parents driveway so I grabbed Molly and we opened the front door.  When Molly saw Shane get out to of the car she let out a squeal of delight and held out her arms for Shane.  It was the best welcome ever!

Our niece got baptized the same day as Sarah's wedding and we really wanted to attend both.  It made for a busy morning: Salt Lake Temple for wedding at 9am, family pictures at 10am, baptism in Riverton (25 minute drive) at 11am and back up to Salt Lake for the wedding luncheon at noon (we were 5 minutes late).  It was close, but we were able to fit it all in and stay awake with the help of a little diet mountain dew!!

Molly was giggling all night!

All of my brothers and sisters!  I love my family!

17 Months Old

We've been in Utah this week getting ready for my sister's wedding.  Molly has been having so much fun with her cousins and wouldn't even let me take a picture of her alone.  She didn't want to miss out on any of the action!  Molly's vocabulary continues to expand.  This week she started asking for her apple juice by name.  I know I've shared some of these, but here are some of her favorite words and a translation key:
Apple Juice = a-choo
spoon = poon
moo = mmm
shoe = shoe
cheese = cheese
macaroni & cheese = mmm-cheese
train = choo choo
blankie = baba
cracker = crack crack
oatmeal = o-meal
egg = aaa
