For this weeks Sunday Shot...we were in Utah for the Holidays. Molly is now a seasoned traveler and is loving being with all her cousins and Grandparents.
Hanging out at the family Christmas Party.
This is a photo of Molly and her Great-grandma Hartmann.
We are so thankful for the many blessings that we have received this past year. As we were looking at the many gifts under our Christmas Tree, can you see the best present we got this year?
Molly is really showing her personality lately. In church, she smiles at everybody and during some musical numbers in sacrament meeting, Molly started "singing" right along with the choir. It was so cute.
I love this picture of my 2 gals, Meredith and Molly!
At our ward Christmas party, Santa was there for a short visit. Molly was very excited, as you can see by her expression. One of the primary girls that was helping out commented that Molly was so good and didn't even cry!
We can't believe that our little princess is already 3 months old. Molly's little 5 year old friend Hailey told her mom today at Church that when Molly was first born, she was soooo cute, but now that Molly has gotten older....she is even morecute and she can't stand to leave her side. We have to agree!
It's amazing to see how fast our little Molly is growing. I'm posting some before and after shots of Molly wearing the same little dresses 2 months apart. They're no longer dresses, but they make darling tops!
Here she is in her little sundresses at 4 weeks old and again this week. What a cutie!!!
On Friday we went to Cantigny Park with our friends Patrick, Katelyn and Jake and had a great time playing on the tanks, exploring the museum and touring the estate. If you haven't been, we recommend it. Molly was so cozy in her stroller that she slept for most of the visit. I'm posting this tummy time picture of her instead of a less exciting one of her sleeping in the stroller!
Boys will be boys! Shane loves to spend his time hanging around!
It's pretty cool to be able to climb on the tanks - they have about 12 tanks that you see up close and personal!
Today we had Molly dressed in a bright dress and sweater. The weather has been great so far and lets us go on walks and be outside. Hopefully the snow will stay away for a few more weeks.
She is starting to smile more and even giggles at times. Her bright and happy personality is definitely shining through.
Today we drove over to Indiana for the Navy vs Notre Dame football game. My brother coaches for Navy and we were so excited to go to one of his games this year. Knowing this would be an all day outing and were a bit concerned about Molly and how she would handle the crowds and noise. I don't know why we worried! Our little football girl was a sweetheart the entire game! Shane's parents are in town visiting so they got to come with us and all of the coaches wives came to the game so we got to hang out with Monica too! Football and Family...is there a better way to spend a Saturday? (Did I mention Navy won?)
Quick photo op with Joe and Monica before they hopped on the bus to head to the airport. We loved seeing them and introducing them to Molly!
Hanging out with the family at the Notre Dame football stadium.
It was a beatuiful day - about 75 degrees - unusual for November, but we'll take as much sun as we can get!
We've had such a fun visit with Jill and Lonny and hope they come back soon!
Today for church we dressed Molly in a little dress that was crocheted for me when I was born. Molly looked so cute sweater dress, her little purple leggings and purple socks with black mary janes. Funny thought - as we were changing Molly out of her church clothes something didn't seem quite right...I think the dress might be on backwards! Mom?
It's taken us over a week, but we finally were able to capture Molly's darling smile on film! Our little girl is 8 weeks old today. She lights up our lives just like her smile lights up her face!
Our curly locks may be rubbing off on our little Molly. Now that her hair is a bit longer, we've noticed that it's super curly when it's wet! It usually straightens when it dries, but who know? What a cutie!
You probably think we are so cheesy for documenting the littlest events in Molly's life, but seriously, our baby girl is so adorable we can't help but gush every time we look at her! Look how big the smallest tights are...so cute!!! Today when we sat down for church Shane turned to me and said,"Do you mind if I hold her during church since you got to hold her last week?" How cute is that! Shane's the best dad!
Beautiful Molly. You love to have your hands by your face. Your big brown eyes are open with curiosity. I hope you don't grow up too fast... You fill our lives with love.
5 little pumpkins sitting on a gate; The first one said,"My it's getting late!" The second one said,"There are witches in the air!" The third one said,"I don't care!" The fourth one said,"I'm ready for some fun!" The fifth one said,"Let's run and run and run!" Then "whoosh" went the wind and out went the light and 5 little pumpkins rolled out of sight!
My Grandma taught me this finger play when I was little and I plan to pass it on too.
