Double Decker Bus Tour

We've had so much fun spending time with Shane's parents this week. Our favorite activity was doing the double decker bus tour in downtown Chicago. Although we go into Chicago all the time, we'd never done the bus tour. It was a blast! We were afraid the rain would get in the way, but it just added to the experience. Plus we got to wear cool ponchos that basically screamed "tourist" to everyone we saw. It was great!

Hello! I came across your blog from Trish Postma's blog! I spoke w/ Shane's mom a few months ago and she told me that you're looking into adoption! That is terrific. Good luck! Shane - you will be an awesome dad! Rochelle (Vick) and her husband Shane have adopted 2 boys and are trying to adopt again. I'm sure they could give you insight with their experiences. They have a blog rochellekjarblgspot.com . Anyway, hope you are doing well and are healthy and happy! RAnce and I have 2 kids (Calvin 5, and Claire 3) and are living in Lehi! There you go...now you're caught up on our lives! I can't wait to hear about your progress with the adoption!

We had so much fun!! The trip to downtown Chicago was a blast! Loved the tour bus, shopping at the Oprah store, and getting the famous "Garrett's" Popcorn!
Thanks for everything!
